Recycled Notebooks

March 2009 | Submitted by: Lora

Paper that only has printing on one-side can be used as scrap paper or for making recycled notebooks. For use as scrap paper, just save one-sided paper somewhere or cut it up into halves or quarters if that's more convenient for you.

For notebooks, save a bunch of paper and find a more durable material for the front and back cover (think cereal boxes or other packaging). There are a ton of different ways to make notebooks out of recycled paper. I've tried a few different ways and have found these great resources:

The Paper Trail

Booklyn's Artists Alliance

Japanese Bookbinding (http://www.sff.net/ and http://www.instructables.com)
